Applications are invited for admission to Ph.D. programme in the Department of Zoology for the year 2014 from eligible candidates who would be placed under the Faculties of Zoology, CU and affiliated research supervisors for the pursuance of their Ph.D. degree.

Candidates are requested to download the Ph.D. admission test application form from the University website. The filled in form is to be submitted to the Head of the Department (Zoology), 35, B. C. Road, Kolkata - 700 019 C.U. within 14thFebruary, 2013.

• Date of publication of selection List : 27th February, 2014
• Date of Interview : March 3rd, 2014
• Number of Vacancies for Ph.D. programme : 35

Candidates with valid NET / GATE / M.Phil. or equivalent qualifications are not required to appear at the admission test but would need to qualify the interview. Reservation will be followed as par rule.
